Book illustration - I capture the castle

An illustration commissioned by a friend, inspired by a passage from their favorite book. The piece explores mood and narrative through composition and texture, and includes a few supporting illustrated elements developed during the process. While not all details were used in the final illustration, they helped shape the visual direction and atmosphere — and I’ve included them here as part of the creative journey.
