4.48 Psychosis is the final, posthumously produced play by Sarah Kane (1999), offering a raw, non-linear, and fragmented exploration of severe clinical depression, suicidal ideation, and the loss of self. The title refers to 4:48 a.m., often a moment of lucidity or peak despair for the depressed mind.
Design, illustration and hand-lettering for 4.48 Psychosis theater poster. The illustration was adapted from an unused book cover I created a few years ago. Since the sketch was not chosen and the illustration was still on my mind years later I decided to finish it and find a different purpose for it.
